Spring in Maine could still have a bit of a chill. Be aware that it could dip into the 50s by the end of the night, so please bring a layer!
Everyone is invited to brunch at the Van der Kloot's house on Sunday morning between 11am and 1pm.
Maine in the summer gets busy, so we recommend making reservations early.

The coastline around here is beautiful: check out Pine Point or Scarborough Beach, or head up to Two Lights State Park for a rocky coastline and the site of our engagement! Closer to Portland is Portland Head Light, which is situated on a scenic coastal park with nice walking paths. If you're in Portland, there's a footpath around Back Cove with views of the city. Or take the ferry out to Peaks Island to explore Casco Bay!
Portland is a very walkable city and the Old Port in particular has a great historic feel. There's so much to see, but we recommend stopping by the Portland Museum of Art, or Flea-for-All and LeRoux Kitchen if you're interested in some shopping.
The area is home to many world-class breweries. Allagash headlines the list, but don't miss Foundation, Austin Street, and Battery Steele right next door. Also check out Oxbow, Bissell Brothers, Rising Tide, and of course, Novare Res Bier Cafe.
Portland has a crazy amount of good food for a city its size, so we can't even begin to cover it all here. Some of our favorite spots are The Shop and Eventide for oysters, Standard Baking Co. (get here early for a full selection and to avoid long lines!), Pai Men Miyake for ramen, and Slab for pizza.

We're committed to following all CDC and Maine state guidelines for weddings and large events. We'll be monitoring the recommendations and situations as it changes. Presently, we're expecting both masks and 6' social distancing to be in place. Our venue has a mix of indoor and outdoor space, and we plan to be able to accommodate guests who prefer to be outside throughout (for both the ceremony and reception).
For the latest info, please see the Maine CDC site.
